
*T-Pain is said to have broken four teeth and suffered several cuts and abrasions on his face during a freak golf cart accident that took place on Friday.
The tumble caused the singer-producer to bail from various projects, including a music video shoot with Lil Kim for their upcoming single, "Download."
"He's gonna be in the video, but we have to wait until he heals and gets better,” Lil Kim told HipHollywood.com. “So, to my boy T-Peezy, 'Get better baby. We can't wait to see you.'"
T-Pain also missed his slot on the Lil Wayne "I Am Music Tour" stop in San Jose, California on Friday because of the mishap. Thousands of fans arrived at HP Pavilion to find signs saying that T-Pain would not be performing.

Akon's brother, Bu, is responding to an allegation made by T-Pain's father, Shaheed Najm, who said he was fired by his son as his manager because Akon and Bu spread lies to T-Pain behind his back (Thursday, 03/26/09 EUR). In a news release to EUR, Bu says it's "absolutely not true." Read his entire statement below:
"The allegations that were made by T Pain’s father, Shaheed Najm, about my brother and I are absolutely not true. We did not sell his son a dream nor did we take away his management duties. It's been six years since we signed T Pain, so why wait until now to make allegations like these?
T Pain is doing great financially and has made huge strides and accomplishments in his musical career. If I was in your home six years ago selling your son a dream, I think it is safe to say the dream became a reality for your son. I don't know any new or existing artist that wouldn't want their career to sky rocket the way T Pain’s career did. Right now it’s Konvict and Nappy Boy season and we are focusing on our new artists Prynce, American Yard, Tay-Dizm, Travis McCoy and Sophia Fresh.
After reviewing all of the accusations made, it is clear to me that this is really a financial issue."
