Police have charged Fredrick Goings, a Chicago lawyer, with the murders of Nova Henry, the ex-girlfriend of NBA player Eddy Curry, and her 9-month-old daughter, Ava. Goings, 36, had dated Henry, who was gunned down along with Ava on Jan. 24 in their Chicago home. According to the New York Daily News, Goings has been the main suspect since the murders. Not long after the slayings, authorities found Curry’s 3-year-old son, Noah, beside his mother’s lifeless body. The young boy reportedly told relatives that “Fred did it,” says the paper. Goings had previously represented Henry, 24, in a case involving the New York Knicks center.
