Suspect Arrested in Violent Fairburn Carjacking, Murder

FAIRBURN, Ga. (MyFOX ATLANTA) – An arrest was made Friday in the violent Fairburn carjacking that left an Ohio man dead.
Investigators arrested 26-year-old Kealy Williams of Palmetto and he has been charged with murder and carjacking. Williams was taken to the Union City jail, where he remained Friday night.

Forty-one-year-old Terrance Harris of Cleveland, Ohio was shot at a car wash on Highway 74, south of Interstate 85 in Fairburn Thursday afternoon and the vehicle Harris was driving was taken. Authorities located the vehicle Friday morning. The car was found abandoned in Coweta County, just west of Fairburn.

Harris was taken to Atlanta Medical Center, where he later died.

Harris was in Atlanta to attend his father's funeral, which was scheduled for Friday.
