Shoppers Gone Wild

(MEMPHIS, TN 1/9/2009) Memphis Police are trying to track down two young women who nearly ran over a Kohl's security worker in the parking lot.

It happened last month at the Kohl's store on Germantown Parkway around 8:00 p.m.

According to the police report, the 25-year-old loss prevention officer told police he spotted the duo leaving the store with a bunch of stuff they didn't pay for, about $200 worth of clothing.

He tried to stop them, but they took off. They got into their silver Chevy Malibu with temporary tags and floored it. Police say the driver backed right into the officer. To avoid getting hit, he grabbed onto the driver side rear window, the glass broke, and he suffered cuts all over his hands.
