JENNINGS, LA (KPLC) - 25-year-old Christopher Trent of Jennings is a fugitive on the run. Since April 2008, Trent's been evading officers who are looking for him for allegedly committing several sex crimes against young girls.
Jennings Police Detective Jean Cooley says, "We had several complaints from different parents about the subject having carnal knowledge of their daughters."
Trent has been indicted on two counts of carnal knowledge of a juvenile. He's accused of having sex with a 14-year-old girl when he was 24 and a 13-year-old girl when he was 22.
On a music CD that's reportedly being sold as far as Baton Rouge, Trent, who clearly identifies himself, raps about how police officers aren't able to catch him. He also mocks several police officers on the 18 track disc. Detective Jean Cooley is one of the officers Chris Trent calls by name.
Cooley says, "To me it's funny. I think if you have time to make a CD and try to make fun of something that's not laughable then you have way too much time on your hands."
The Jennings Police Department, along with other area police agencies, are actively searching for Christopher Trent. They say when they do catch him it will be time for Trent to finally face the music.
Trent could face more charges. Police recently searched his Jennings home and say they found nearly 400 ecstasy pills in the attic along with an ounce of crack cocaine.
