NE-YO SUED BY PROMOTER OVER NO SHOW AT PREFORMANCE

R&B star Ne-Yo is being sued by a Maryland-based promoter for failing to show up as promised to perform in Bellevue, Washington, reports TMZ.com. According to a lawsuit filed last week, Wet Entertainment booked the singer for a New Year's Eve performance and paid him $95,000 up front. The organizers said Ne-Yo's people made it to Washington, but the artist himself never arrived. As a result, the show had to be cancelled. Wet is suing Ne-Yo and the booking company that made the deal for the $95,000, plus more than $1 million in damages.
