New Jersey Facing Hepatitis B Outbreak

A doctor in Trenton, NJ, is facing a shutdown on his offices for violating health codes that may have caused an outbreak of Hepatitis B. Authorities have issued a warning to more than 3,000 people who may have had some sort of contact with the doctor or his patients.
The discovery came about in February when five of his cancer patients came up positive for Hepatitis B. The illness is a serious liver disease that can be an acute ailment or evolve into a chronic illness that develops into liver cancer. It is still unclear as to how the disease was spread, but the good doctor still faces suspension of his license.
