NBA BALLER GETS SHOT IN NEW ORLEANS … POLICE SUSPECT IT WAS AN ATTEMPTED CAR-JACKING!!!

March 17, 2009. MediaTakeOut.com just caught wind that the Houston Rocket’s Carl Landry was shot in the leg early this morning in police suspect was a car jacking attempt. Here’s how the Houston Chronicle is reporting things:
According to police, Landry was driving when another vehicle bumped his car. He got out to inspect the damage and two shots were fired from the other vehicle as it slowly passed him, team officials said.
The second shot struck Landry.

It’s not clear how Carl made it out of there alive – but he did. And get this, dude ain’t even get his car stolen either. There may be more to this story.
