AURORA, Colo. (AP) – Aurora police say a man threatened to shoot employees of a Best Buy and blow up the store because his pre-ordered copy of “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3″ wasn’t there.
Aurora police spokesman Bob Friel says 31-year-old Lomorin Sar was stopped early Tuesday after he left the store and issued a summons for misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Friel says Sar was at the store around midnight for a promotion surrounding the release of the PlayStation 3 game.
The Aurora Daily Sentinel first reported the story.
Witnesses told police that Sar asked employees when they were leaving work because he planned to shoot them in the parking lot as they left. Police say he also threatened to blow up the store.
