Eyyyy....First HIP HOP aint dead, if it was there wouldnt be this50.com....HIP HOP sets trends everywhere, and just like energy & life it cannot stay the same. Of course there are some things we'd rather not have even touched, like a parent embarrassed by his own kids! Think about this tho...I dont think any one artist or style killed hip hop, but its really we the avid consumers and worshipers of our fav hip hop stars that take things to another level. Hell some of our most respected icons are DEAD! Who did that???? All we have are conspircies and scenerios, but at times we're so distracted by the non scence of it all (artist and consumers alike) that the REAL corprets are forgotten or ignored! There are those that understand hip hop is an art form and then there are those that cant seperate tv from reality! Personally I was born on the west coast, raised in the south and fell in love wit it all when WuTang was at its finest. Currently hip hop is suffering because of weak albums, bootleggrs, haters, technology etc.... Shit we gotta catch up with whats going on because ever since hip hop really got crackin we've been under the microscope because we are exploited for the sad realities that we've come from or never the less overcome. Ex: Mike Vick is just one of many entertainers instantly rich but lacking the knowledge it takes to sustain a career in the spot light. ("Spygate" Bill Belacheck coach for the New England Patriots was cheating all year and they didnt band his ass or stop him from doing his job!!!!) Point is, we get raw deals all the time but we never do a dam thing but complain or just say oh well it aint me! Next year there trying to put a cap on the amount of $ a rookie can make out of high school, I dont necessarily agree but in relation there definitly should be a HIP HOP 101 class to prevent for people from becoming famous, making lots of $, but suddenly believe there untouchable. BEWARE of the HIP HOP police. In Atlanta the FBI is currently hiring 3k employees!!!.....Come on people we live in USA, your not going to be in the spotlight and not be attacked in some form or another. On the real we got to start lookin out for each other or all the freedoms we do have wil be taken away. The constitution is already being ammended, so why would the give a fuck about our well being....THE GAME HAS TO CHANGE ALL TOGETHER, the recession....correction DEPRESSION is proving that hip hop definitly must improve, evolve, whatever... cause it aint all good & WE AINT BUYING BULLSHIT NO MORE!!! Through hip hop we've grown rich and are accepted all around the world. What we cant allow is for this outlet to be outlawed simply because of stereo types. THE DUM SHIT DONT REPRESENT ME...MY PRESIDENTS BLACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
