*People.com is reporting that super producer/rapper Dr. Dre's Son, Andre Young, Jr. overdosed on heroin and morphine.
It was confirmed by the LA County Coroner's office on Friday. The drug test results had been pending for four months.
"This case has been closed, it's been ruled an accident due to morphine and heroin intoxication," coroner spokesman Larry Dietz told People.
Young, 20, was found unresponsive by his mother, Jenita Porter - in their Woodland Hills, CA. - home on the morning of Aug. 23.
Paramedics pronounced Young, who was remembered by friends as an optimistic young man, dead at the scene.
Porter told investigators that her son had been out with friends that night, and she recalled hearing him snoring around 5:30 a.m.
At EUR press time there was no comment or statement issued from Dr. Dre regarding the coroner's office's finding.
*Meanwhile, the son of actor John Travolta died earlier today, according to reports.
16-year-old Jett Travolta hit his head in the bathtub of the family's vacation home in Freeport, The Bahamas. He was pronounced dead at Rand Memorial Hospital.
According to TMZ.com, there have been reports that Jett was autistic, though Travolta has denied it, saying he suffers from Kawasaki Syndrome, a condition which often leads to heart disease.
