Fox 17 reports "KALAMAZOO - A bus driver in Kalamazoo was transported to the hospital Tuesday morning after a student assaulted her. The incident happened on Brook Drive near Gull Road around 7:30 a.m. The female driver was found with injuries to her face, head, and hands. At that time, investigators found the attacker had left the scene. Police said the attacker is a student at the Kalamazoo Regional Education Service Agency's Valley Center School. The 16 year old was apparently upset with the way the substitute driver was performing her duties. The teen verbally threatened the driver, walked to the front of the bus, and attacked her, police said. The driver stopped the bus and radioed for help while she was being attacked."
