ANDRE HARRELL RECOVERING FROM HEART SURGERY: Blige, Chris Rock, Jay-Z welcome mogul home after quadruple bypass.
The 48-year old had an emergency quadruple heart bypass procedure to prevent him from succumbing to coronary artery heart disease, reports the New York Post.
Sean "Diddy" Combs, Harrell's former intern at his Uptown Records label, reportedly stayed at the hospital throughout Harrell's operation until he was successfully moved to the recovery room.
The welcome home party was held at Harrell's New York home.
