F.B.I. Identifies Suspect in Anniston Bank Robbery

ANNISTON, Ala. --- The F.B.I. is identifying 20 year old Gabriel Dewayne Rice as a suspect in Wednesday’s Anniston bank robbery.
Rice accused of robbing the Wachovia Bank on Bill Robinson Parkway around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday with another suspect.

Both men were seen in images taken from bank security cameras armed with handguns.

Wachovia has also announced up to $10,000 in reward money for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case.

NBC13HD learned Thursday that the suspects initial getaway car was a green Honda Civic reported stolen from Cordova on Monday.

Investigators said the suspects ditched the car minutes after the robbery before carjacking and elderly woman and her caregiver in a nearby neighborhood.

The suspects allegedly forced the women to drive them to Glencoe before the two men fled on foot.

Neither of the women were harmed.

More likely young niggas but the gangstas are well organized and may plan a crime 5 years ahead of time and they think long and hard before acting out. They may smile at you during an altercation and walk away and 2 months later you dead and no one knows who did it. I'ma Gangsta but realize we all got our day. Big ups 2 big meech. Personally, I know this guy and the only thing I can do is pray and leave it in the hands of the Lord. Shit, you never know what type of situation a person is in or what they are going through to resort to drastic measures and robbing a bank. But this man is innocent until proven guilty!! Fuck what you say, its what you know and how to go about doing it.
