Murder Suspect Dies at The MED

MEMPHIS, TN - A man accused of killing his sister's boyfriend, and burying his body in the backyard is dead.
Herman Porter, 46, died at The MED early Monday evening. According to jail officials, he was taken to the hospital Sunday evening after jailers noticed a change in his behavior. An autopsy will be performed to determine how he died.

Earlier today, his sister, Sheila Porter, 47, appeared in court. Police say she admitted helping her brother bury Wayne Hart nearly two years ago. Hart's family called police last week after they started digging in the backyard of Sheila Porter's home on Manassas and found bones.

Police say had been shot in the head and buried in a shallow grave. Herman Porter and Sheila Porter were charged with voluntary manslaughter.
