Why wallow in the business of hate? is that putting any food or money on your tables? Is it getting you a job? is it stopping the racism against our people? So you are telling me that if you decide to change up something in your life...you can, but he can't...my people pleasezzz. he is our people and the stacks are against "us" no matter how you slice one of your own up. At one point in your God givin' life you...we as a people need to support our own so that we can get above the deep hole they have kept us in. Personally, I accept his grow out, and dammit people "what the hell" our hair is nappy, you can't run from our roots, our history. I will never be ashamed of our origination of nappy hair. I embrace our culture, but I also know that we have evolved and we as the African American Culture can pretty much wear our hair any way we please, because alot of our men prefer the straight, the so called "good hair" whether it be on a black woman or white woman, and we as women have a lot of hurt from this disregard, but we are strong, so we bumped it up and have changed with the preference's that our black men prefer...b/c we refuse to sit back and have our men go astray from us...let me go on record saying: WE LOVE OUR BLACK MEN. Did yall hear me: WE LOVE YAll, and we are trying to keep you, and keep you happy, so we'll do the things that we need to do (even keeping our hair straight, or weaved, or extensioned whatever b/c some of yall like the nappy too (and we appreciate that), but most important the things we do to keep you, keeps you guys gettin' at us ( the black females), but getting back to Jay-Z changing his hair. I accept it, as I accept him , may be he will grow dreads, but whatever he does, alot of women like his swagger regardless and in any event...he's doin' "him! (and he can get it). It's the ROC!
