Turtle Creek Man Shot Dead In Homestead; Suspect Wanted

HOMESTEAD, Pa. -- Allegheny County police detectives are looking for a Homestead man in connection with the shooting death of a Turtle Creek man.
Just before midnight Wednesday, police were dispatched to a report of a shooting near the intersection of Seventh Avenue and Ann Street in Homestead.

Friends transported the victim, 22-year-old Marc Ferguson, to UPMC Braddock hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The shooting scene was located by police in a parking lot next to a bar called The Second Time Around. Police believe the victim was with friends in the bar before he was shot.

On Thursday afternoon, county police detectives said they had an arrest warrant for Raymond A. Glaze Jr. on a charge of homicide.

Glaze is black, about 5 feet 7 inches and 150 pounds. Police said he was last seen on foot near the scene of the shooting.

County detectives did not say why they consider Glaze a suspect.
