Da Brat Gets 3 Year Prison Sentence

Another Day, another rapper throwing their lives and careers away. Unlike her half sister LisaRaye who claims to have caught a beatdown, Da Brat prefers to be a giver and not a receiver ( ;) ). Reports just in are saying that Da Brat is going to be going to prison for 3 years for laying the smackdown on some poor woman in an Atlanta club. The way the story goes, Da Brat who is almost as well known for for short temper as she is her ambiguous sexuality, smashed a bottle of rum over a waitress’ head leaving her with permanent facial scars.
As a result of the incident, Da Brat has been sentenced to 3 years in prison and 200 hours of community service. An oddly relaxed and unshaken Brat had this to say outside the courtroom while her family stood around her teary eyed…

“I love y’all”

Surprise surprise. Da Brat is not shook at all. Maybe it’s because this is Da Brat we are talking about here. Sending Da Brat to a women’s prison would be like sending Michael Jackson to a slumber party for mute children. Unlike T.I. who completely threw his career away, Da Brat really didn’t have anything going on anyway. So this might be alright for her. I’m sure it won’t be too long before she gets settled in prison and has her head between some female’s legs…getting her hair braided.
