Hampton police make arrest in Doolittle Road shooting
Police have arrested one man and are looking for another man in connection with a shooting on Doolittle Road Tuesday.
The shooting happened just before 5:30 a.m. in the 100 block of Doolittle Road, police said. A 29-year-old woman was shot once in the upper torso and is being treated for serious injuries.
Antwaine Tyrone Leroy Pittman, 24, of the 100 block of Doolittle Road, was arrested Tuesday night and charged with maiming, use of a firearm in commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Police have a warrant for accessory after the fact for Bryan Latre Carolina, 28, of Hampton.
