Engleside Man Arrested for Sexual Assault of Young Girl
Detectives arrested Timothy Champion, 30, after the child told family members what happened. Police say the victim was playing with a friend and Champion at an Engleside-area home. At some point, police say, he held the girl down, kissed her and touched her inappropriately.
Police took Champion to the Fairfax County (web|news) Adult Detention Center and charged him with abduction with intent to defile, aggravated sexual battery and kissing a child under the age of 13.
Police say there were no injuries.
