Brandy teams up with Skechers for charity

R&B singer Brandy has teamed up with footwear manufacturer Skechers for its “Nothing Compares to Family” ad campaign. The ad features Brandy and her 6-year-old daughter Sy’rai Smith. Skechers also signed actress Tori Spelling and “Heroes” villain Jack Coleman for the campaign which benefits family-related charities selected by the individual celebrities.
Proceeds will benefit Brandy’s Norwood Kids Foundation. The NK Foundation is dedicated to enriching the cultural life of at-risk youth through its program communities. Each program community is designed to provide safe and transformational havens for the youth by offering them structured, supervised and productive alternatives.

Brandy’s fifth studio album is due in stores in November. “It’s great to be part of Skechers’ campaign, which promotes and benefits families and children,” Brandy said.
