Twinsburg man charged with killing police officer

As the widow of slain Twinsburg police officer Joshua Miktarian watched, Ashford Thompson, the man charged with his murder, was arraigned this morning in Summit County Common Pleas Court.
Magistrate John Shoemaker revoked bond. Thompson, 23, has been in the Summit County Jail under a $5 million bond set last week in Cuyahoga Falls Municipal Court.

Thompson, who was arraigned by video, appeared bored with the proceeding yawning at times. If convicted, he could face the death penalty. His case was assigned to Judge Elinor Marsh Stormer.
