Man Charged in Murder of Grandmother in Midtown Memphis

MEMPHIS, TN – Memphis police say a man has been charged in the murder of an 85 year-old woman in Midtown Memphis.

Tommie Phillips, 21, has been charged with First Degree Murder in an aggravated robbery attempt.

Twins arrested in killing at a carwash

Twin brothers, previously convicted of felony crimes, are back in jail.

But this time they're charged with capital murder.



Keith D. McCuin (left) and Kevin L. McCuin (right), both 28, were arrested Wednesday afternoon at their home in southeast Fort Worth.

Man gets life for Mesa girl's 2005 murder

A judge sentenced a longtime methamphetamine user Thursday to life in prison without possibility of parole for the brutal murder of a 3-year-old east Mesa girl.

Victim shot during funeral identified



PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland police searched Friday for a shooting suspect who opened fire as a funeral was taking place at a north Portland church.

*Sotheby's has yanked three papers related to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. from auction after his estate claimed the documents, being sold by Harry Belafonte, are estate property, reports the Associated Press.

Police, FBI arrest two men, teen in bank robbery

DAYTON — Police and Federal Bureau of Investigation officers arrested two men and a juvenile Wednesday evening, Dec. 10, in connection with the Tuesday robbery of a National City Bank branch at 4389 W. Third St. in the Westown Shopping Center.
