City police issued a warrant overnight for 19-year-old Jesse Engram. He faces one count of criminal homicide in the fatal shooting of 20-year-old Korey Johnson.
Johnson was killed after being shot in his GMC Yukon on Monday night at the Sunoco station on Penn Avenue.

The man accused of shooting his wife at her Metairie workplace this afternoon has been booked with kidnapping and attempted murder.

A teenager shot a man to death over a necklace, got nervous and told people that he only meant to shoot the man in the knee, police say. Detectives have charged Trent D. Washington, 17, with murder.
