Police say bragging about Euless burglary leads to gunbattle

EULESS -- The burglary on July 2 in Euless went off without a hitch and netted $59,000 in cash.

But, police said Monday, it was bragging about that burglary that led to a gunbattle Friday at a Fort Worth apartment, nearly got an 18-year-old Euless man shot and helped put him in jail.

Kansas City man faces murder charges in Raytown quadruple homicide

Jackson County prosecutors charged a 24-year-old Kansas City man with murder today in four March homicides that shocked Raytown and the entire community.

Under an indictment returned about 9:30 a.m., Gevante D. Anderson was charged with four counts of first-degree murder, one count of burglary and five counts of armed criminal action.

Shooting Suspect: 'I'm Sorry' Shooting Happened Near Clark Atlanta University

ATLANTA -- A man accused of being involved in a shootout with Clark Atlanta officers has been found after he escaped from the new high security police headquarters.

Deputies say dad asked fifth-grade son to help dump body

The man accused of killing a prostitute last month and then dumping her remains near Eatonville asked his fifth-grade son to help get rid of the body, records show.

Alan John Jett, 40, who is charged with first-degree murder in the June slaying of Lashanda Rae Brand, was held without bail at the Orange County Jail.
