Lil Wayne Debuts At No. 171 On SoundScan Already?



Lil Wayne is probably platinum in the ‘hood by now thanks to Chuck T who leaked the Cash Money rapper’s album last week in response to his comments about mixtape DJs.



But it looks like Tha Carter III is still project to sell well despite bootlegging and being leaked online. Industry trade Web site Hits Daily Double is predicting the album to debut at number one.

Children shot, gangs blamed



The little girl in the hospital bed put on a brave face.

The 26th Chicago Public Schools student killed

A 15-year-old boy was killed and a man critically wounded in a shooting Monday night on Chicago's Northwest Side, police said. The teen is the 26th Chicago Public Schools student killed since the beginning of last school year.

Police release sketch of sexual assault suspect



Police have released a sketch of a man wanted in the sexual assault of a 22-year-old woman who was grabbed from behind in the Mayfair section of the city.



On May 30, police said, the woman was forced to the ground about 1:15 a.m. while on the 2800 block of Rawle Street and indecently assaulted

13-year-old girl charged in stabbing death



Porsha Avery tried to imagine a 13-year-old girl, someone just like herself, charged with murder.
