13-Year Old Girl Charged In Shooting

DETROIT - A 14-year-old girl is now facing charges. She is accused of shooting a 13-year-old girl in the leg.

It started as a spat at school and moved to a home near the intersection of 24th and Michigan Avenue in southwest Detroit. Police say a 13-year-old girl brought her friends to confront a 14-year-old girl. At the door of the home, the 14-year-old was allegedly punched in the face.

Teacher Suspended For Allowing Students To Dress Like KKK

DAHLONEGA, Ga. -- A local high school teacher at the center of controversy sat down with Channel 2 Action News reporter Linda Stouffer to discuss why she allowed several of her students to wear Ku Klux Klan-type outfits to school.

Detroit's Former Mayor, Kwame Kilpatrick Sentenced To 5 Years In Prison

DETROIT (AP) — Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick was sentenced to up to five years in prison Tuesday for violating the terms of his

probation stemming from his conviction for lying under oath about an

affair with his chief of staff.
