Triple slaying suspect: "I had fun"

Handcuffed and shackled, Randal Rushing blew the awaiting media a kiss as he was led from a Wilkes-Barre apartment Thursday afternoon.

“I had fun,” the man accused of a triple homicide in Scranton said when asked whether he had killed three people.

Change of venue for courtroom slaying trial

Judge Julian Parker last week raised the magistrate court's original $750,000 bond to a cool million - which in Orleans is an enormous sum for a defendant facing a charge not involving a homicide. Bonds remained in jail as of Tuesday… Continue

46 count indictment in Knoxville carjack slaying

A Knox County Criminal Court judge on Wednesday ordered prosecutors in a fatal carjacking case to answer four "Ws": what, when, where and who.

In a straightforward case, Judge Richard Baumgartner's directive might pose little or no problem for prosecutors and might not even be a concern for the defense. But, as the judge noted at a hearing Wednesday, the carjacking-turned-torture-slaying of a young Knox County couple is anything but… Continue
