2 arrested for drive-by shooting

19-year-old Rashad Easley was booked into jail Thursday night on one count of first degree murder, three counts of shooting with intent to kill, and three outstanding warrants.

Blacksburg man sentenced to life for drive-by shooting

A Blacksburg man has been sentenced to life in prison in connection with a fatal drive-by shooting in 2007. Travis Sentell Parker, 28, was found guilty of murder Wednesday after of a three-day jury trial in Gaffney. He is not eligible for parole.

Robbery plot suspected in fatal shooting

The shooting and beating on a man early Saturday morning in Portsmouth appears to be a random robbery, police said Tuesday.

A 17-year-old boy was killed and three men injured Monday night when four males in a van opened fire on them in an apparently gang-related drive-by on the South Side.
