The reggae singer known as Eek-A-Mouse was charged Sunday with rape and kidnapping after a 23-year-old woman reported she was held against her will at an Outer Banks motel, police say.

Three killed in two afternoon shootings in New Orleans

Three men were shot to death in the span of two hours this afternoon in two separate incidents in New Orleans.

First, two New Orleans men were shot to death in a vehicle Uptown. Travain Jones, 20, died on the scene, and Bryant Langston, 17, died shortly afterward at University Hospital, according to Orleans Parish chief coroner's investigator John Gagliano. Hartford (WTNH) -- Police are looking for an Enfield man who they say kidnapped and murdered his ex-girlfriend.

Hartford: 11 shot in 3 attacks, including 7 year old boy and 17 month old girl



A 7-year-old boy who was shot in the head after a city parade on Saturday remained in critical condition Sunday night. Police said the shooting may have been gang-related.

Teen girl shot in head during drive-by

A bullet grazed the head of a 16-year-old girl who was an innocent bystander during a drive-by shooting late Friday, police said.

The shooting occurred at 1126 Hoover Road in the Hoover Road Apartments complex shortly before midnight.
