Home Invasion: Man Shot and Robbed in East Memphis

MEMPHIS, TN -- Police say two guys wearing red bandanas kicked in an East Memphis apartment door and are accused of shooting one man and robbing two others.

Mississippi Murder Suspect Captured at Memphis Motel

Deputies Capture Suspected Murderer

Shelby County Sheriff’s Deputies helped capture a suspected murderer from Greenville Mississippi today. Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team, Street Crimes and Fugitive Bureaus, worked with the Mid-South Fugitive Task force and the Mississippi Gulf Coast Task force to make the arrest.

West Memphis Teen Arrested in Two Aggravated Robberies

WEST MEMPHIS, AR – Police say a West Memphis High School student has been arrested for the aggravated robberies of one convenience store.

HIV Infected City Pool Employee Charged with Rape of 17 Year-Old Memphis Girl

MEMPHIS, TN – Police say an employee at the Westwood Swimming Pool is charged with Aggravated Rape and Criminal Exposure to HIV of a 17 year-old girl.

Memphis Man Added To Fugitive List

Memphis man gets county job after prison

(Memphis 07/23/2007) Michael Hooks, Jr. is now on the payroll at the Shelby County Corrections Center. Just weeks after his release from a month long prison sentence, he's working for mayor AC Wharton's reentry program for ex-cons.

Police charge grandson in death of popular Memphis deejay

Memphis police have arrested the grandson of a popular deejay killed Wednesday, charging him with first-degree murder.

Dee “Cap’n Pete” Henderson, who hosted a blues show on WEVL for 26 years, was found shot to death in the backyard of his home at 1040 Fields Wednesday morning. He was 72.

Affidavit: Mother Turns In Son for Murder of Memphis Man

MEMPHIS, TN – Memphis police say a man has been charged in the shooting of a pregnant woman and a man at a Memphis apartment complex.

Six charged in Germantown home invasion



Jeremy J. Munson, 19, Curtis E. Hayes, 29, Jeremiah Hoskins, 20, Robert L. Gilliam, 47, Calvin White, 39 and Cameron White, 31, all of Memphis, face charges of aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery and evading arrest.



Five of the men were taken into custody in North Memphis Thursday morning, and one other suspect was arrested overnight.
