NEWS: Jay-Z To Represent New Jersey Nets At NBA Draft Lottery

He has an album under his belt called “The Gift and The Curse,” but New Jersey Nets executives are hoping Jay-Z is more of the former rather than the latter.

The Brooklyn rapper, who has an ownership stake in the team, will represent the Nets at the NBA Draft Lottery, which is set to air live May 20 on ESPN at 8pm.

U.K. Festival Defends Jay-Z Headline Despite Low Ticket Sales

After much controversy surrounding the billing, rapper Jay-Z is defending his headline slot at popular English music festival Glastonbury this June. The Hip-Hop mogul is being blamed by some for slow ticket sales for the festival, which traditionally has a rock line-up.

According to Billboard, Jay Z has closed his Live Nation deal.

Live Nation closed the Jay-Z 360-degree deal Wednesday night (April 30), sources say.
