DALLAS -- Sheriff's deputies said a man assaulted a female bailiff and attempted to flee the Dallas County courthouse on Monday.

Romeo Charged In Teen's Fatal Shooting

PITTSBURGH -- A 19-year-old man faces a criminal homicide charge in the fatal shooting of a teenager in January.



Ernest Tolliver was a passenger in a car that was leaving the Kentucky Fried Chicken drive-through in Pittsburgh's Homewood neighborhood when, police said, someone ran up to the car and opened fire, killing Tolliver.

Affidavit: Mother Turns In Son for Murder of Memphis Man

Terry Terrell Booker





MEMPHIS, TN – A man has been charged in a Memphis murder and his own mother turned him in to police.



According to a court document, Terry Terrell Booker has been charged with First Degree Murder in the shooting death of 27 year-old Milton Trezevant. Investigators say the shooting happened around 7:55 p.m., June 18, 2008, in the area of Horn Lake Road and Hewlett.

DMX Busted In Miami For Trying To Buy Cocaine and Marijuana

DMX was arrested again, this time, yesterday in Miami for allegedly attempting to buy cocaine and marijuana, TMZ is reporting.

According to the gossip Web site, X approached an undercover officer and handed him $45 for a combination of the drugs.



The former New York rapper was just busted earlier this week in the Sunshine State for driving with without a valid driver’s license.

2 Charged In Slaying Of College Executive

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police on Wednesday announced the arrest of two men in the death of an Edward Waters College executive killed in his Arlington apartment on March 10.

Jeffrey Hardiman, 45, was the vice president of planning and research at the college. His body was discovered March 10 by a maintenance worker at River Bend Apartments.

Jacob The Jeweler Gets 2 1/2 MonthsYears In Jail for not snitching

DETROIT - The New York businessman known in the hip-hop world as "Jacob the Jeweler" was sentenced Tuesday to 2 1/2 years in federal prison for lying to investigators looking into a multistate drug ring.
