Brother Charged With Attempted Murder In Drive-By Shooting

AVON PARK - Police arrested an Avon Park man and charged him as a suspect in the attempted murder of his brother.

The drive-by style shooting incident took place shortly after 10 a.m. Wednesday on Tulane Avenue near Tulane Drive.

INDIANAPOLIS -- A neighborhood feud ended Monday evening with a pregnant teenager shot and several juveniles under arrest, police said.

Former Sheriff's Deputy Indicted In Slaying

DECATUR, Ga. -- A DeKalb County grand jury has indicted a former sheriff's deputy on two counts of murder in the June 9 shooting deaths of his wife and a day laborer killed in the deputy's home.

ROCK HILL, S.C. -- A man accused of violently kidnapping a woman from a Rock Hill restaurant is in jail, according to the Horry County Sheriff's Department.

Infant Found Alone In Filthy Apartment, Mother Arrested

INDIANAPOLIS -- The mother of a 7-month-old boy found alone in what police called a filthy apartment was arrested early Wednesday on suspicion of neglect.

Crack Cocaine Ring Busted In Wythe County, Va.

Six of seven men believed by authorities to be involved in a crack cocaine ring were rounded up late Thursday and early Friday, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Virginia.

13-Year-Old Girl In Custody In Homicide

KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Police have a 13-year-old girl in custody in connection with the shooting death of a 16-year-old boy in Kansas City, Kan.
