Chicago Crime- Woman shot in head, man wounded on South Side

A woman was shot in the head and a man was wounded at a Calumet Heights stoplight Saturday night on the South Side.

An unidentified gunman walked up to a car stopped at a stoplight in the 9300 block of South Colfax Avenue and fired multiple shots into the vehicle about 11:20 p.m., police said.

A 21-year-old woman in the car suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition. A 27-year-old man in the car… Continue
