MOBILE, Ala. -- Mobile police arrested Victor Reed, 22, this morning on attempted murder and first-degree robbery charges in connection with an Oct. 17 carjacking in north Mobile. Reed was taken to Mobile County Metro Jail, where he was being held without bail this afternoon. Jail records list Reed's home as being in the 100 block of Ann Street.

In an instant, one of the gunmen vaulted over the counter and pointed a gun at Saint Fort, telling him to drop to the floor. The 23-year-old college student, who has worked the night shift for three years to put himself through school, believed he would be killed.
