Police have possible suspects in beer delivery driver’s slaying On Monday, the 26-year-old Atlantan was fatally shot in the stomach when someone tried to rob him on a beer delivery at a gas station near Oakland Cemetery.

Tuesday afternoon, Atlanta police were still trying to identify the shooter in the death of the Haitian immigrant, who moved to the United States with his family in 1992.

Portsmouth teen gets 44 years in death of pizza deliverer

Robert Edward Kiesewetter was delivering pizza in the Edgefield Apartments area of Churchland when he was robbed. He was trying to get away when Jamal Minggia shot at him three times, according to Deputy Commonwealth's Attorney Douglas Ottinger.

Kiesewetter managed to drive to a nearby fire station, but the 50-year-old died of a gunshot wound to the chest in the April 25 shooting.

President-elect Barack Obama is set to appoint Eric Holder attorney general, making him the first African American to hold the position, reports say. Man Finds Racist Slur Printed on His Sales Receipt

The owner of Kansas City Journey’s store says it has fired an employee who was behind a racial slur on a receipt given to a black customer. The store owner apologized for the worker who chose a code on a computerized list of reasons for returned merchandise that said “Cust: Dumb Nigger.”
