Man Hit By Brick; Girlfriend Faces Felony Charge

TAMPA - A woman is charged with felony aggravated battery after police said she struck her boyfriend with a brick, knocking out a tooth.

Memphis Girl, 12, Forced By Father To Dismember Mother



A 12 year-old Memphis girl has testified in court that her father -- after first stabbing her mother in the neck and choking her to death -- forced her to help him dismember Charlene Gaither (the mother) after Gaither threatened to call the police on him during a domestic dispute.

Convict Creates Courtroom Chaos

AN ANTONIO -- Chaos erupted in a Bexar County courtroom Wednesday when a convicted killer was in court to learn his execution date.

Kevin Watts, who was found guilty of killing three people execution-style during a restaurant robbery in 2002, asked 226th District Judge Sid Harle if he could address the court. Watts, who is black, began a racially-charged tirade when granted permission to speak to the court.

Man arrested month after bizarre robbery

Police arrested a man Monday suspected in an April 27 convenience store robbery where a clerk turned the tables on a gunman after she was bound with duct tape and left in a bathroom.



Marc Antoine Stovall, 21, was arrested near Loop 202 and 40th Street in Phoenix, police said.

Couple Appears In Court After Baby Found In Freezer



HOUSTON -- A baby's body was found inside a freezer at a southwest Houston motel room on Friday, one year after the child was placed there, police told KPRC Local 2.



Detectives said a couple reported finding a baby's body in a zipped-up duffel bag inside the freezer in room 131 at the InTown Suites, 3000 state South Highway 6 near Richmond Avenue, at about 6 a.m.

Greene County drug bust of 121 pounds of cocaine has 'Mexican connection'



XENIA — The latest and largest cocaine bust — 121 pounds worth more than $5 million — in Greene County has a familiar ring for authorities.



It's the third drug operation with "a Mexican connection" Greene County police have dismantled in the past year.

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. - A gang member convicted of murdering another man as part of an initiation ritual will spend the rest of his life in prison.
