G Runna's songs have been heard over 1,000,000 times online, his videos watched nearly 500,000 times and with over 40,000 mixtape downloads, he is one of Perth Australia’s most acknowledged and notable Hip Hop Artists, all at the age of 17.

G Runna who is half english half latin american grew up in the Central England for 14 years until moving to Perth, Australia in 2006. All his life he has had a deep passion and love for Hip Hop Music, he began writing songs at the age of 12 as a coping mechanism for reality. Growing up listening to Tupac, Dr Dre, Eminem, 50 Cent, Ludacris. He became infatuated with Hip Hop Culture from a young age.

Emerging in the Perth City Underground Hip Hop Scene in early 2008, G Runna began building his fan base on a sick flow, witty punch lines, hard-hitting production and his controversial style. His refreshing take on Hip Hop, although uncommon, makes a lasting impression in Australia, due to its originality. Through his music, G Runna hopes to liberate listeners, free them from their fears and create a space for them in the world to be who they want to be.

During the period of June to August 2009, G Runna released two mixtapes entitled "Welcome to the Souf" and "King of the Souf"both exceeding 10,000 downloads in their debut week.

G Runna draws experiences from his own life in order to write songs. He strongly believes in moral and messages in his music, as he believes there is more to life than stuntin’ and how much money you have. With a desire to change to world, G Runna wants every listener to feel connected to each song in their own relatable way. He strives to prove that being an outcast doesn't matter, and that everyone should live their life how they want to, not how other people want them to. This is the core sense of what music, in particually, hip hop is about.

Through his own initiative, G Runna has gained a sponsorship with US based clothing company G2. This secured the premiere of his official debut music video for "Illest Cat" on Australian National Television in March 2010 and international airplay.

G Runna aspires to sign to a major record label to not only expand his music career, but to set as many people as he can free of their fears through listening to his music. This can only be achieved though wider exposure. G Runna has an intrinsic passion for music and will never give up on his dream.
