i been listenin to allot of old shit lately...ive listened to Reasonable Doubt for the last wk like 3 times a day...Illmatic is top5 rap album of all time..Ready to Die..Makeveli..Paid in Full..shit is jus too classic man...so who in yall opinion is the best rapper to ever do it..nd if u have a top 5 list them too....nd state ur case why u said them ..its all opinion...i wanna see what ppl say

heres mine

1.Hov- too many classic albums..nd hits..lyrics..flow..longevity..his delivery...STAYED hot thruout the yrs...

2.BIG- the most talented rapper ever to me...too classic albums..hits..flow everything u want in a rapper...i feel he didnt die unfortunately...he wouldve been the best without a doubt..

3.2Pac- influential...his hands are in the game more then ne rapper in the gm..he has classic songs..i feel like Pac contradicted himself allot...but he still had an enormous fanbase nd amount of talent..has classic songs...like BIG i jus wonder where he would be if he didnt pass..

4.Rakim- the reason nd the style that Jay BIG NaS Pac nd other rappers rap the way they do...i had to do research on him...my pop had paid in full...nd thats in my opinion the best rap album ever...hes the pioneer of this shit...ne doubts?? look his shit up...hes a legend

5.NaS- prb the most lyrical rapper of all time in my eyes...Illmatic..It Was Written..Stillmatic...classics...he is the only rapper i feel who has been on the same level his whole career...poor production has lowered his stock to allot of ppl...but when it come to bar for bar...hard to find ANYONE better..

Pac- versatile, wasnt as lyrical as your 5 but would kill anyone in today.. lyrical tracks such as Tradin War stories, bomb first, no more pain, mind made up. most influential rapper ever, All eyes on me went diamond in less than a year, (who does that??) real- spoke his mind, didnt give a fuck about criticism, made meanigful songs... and you wouldnt dare diss him, Come at your ass full steam ahead!!.... His knowledge was a gift and a curse, was his biggest downfall. He knew too much and some didnt like it

yea thats a good top 5. but i feel these rappers is better than some of your top 5 : jadakiss,ross,wayne. im not just goin off of lyrics. i mean with flow beat selection production lyrics. 2pac was nice but to me he didnt have alot of lyrics like that he was just speakin on shit goin on ina everyday life. nas kills everybody wit the lyrics but beat selection production n his flow over certain beats not that good. same thing with rakim him n nas are alot like in ways. but i think nas has a better flow than rakim. biggie is nice lyrically production nice beats but his flow was iiiight. first time i heard him switch it up was on that bone thugs track n he did his thing but that was only on one track. its like he couldnt flow on up tempo type beats.

yea nigga. wayne killed maaad mixtapes. maaad songs. his lyrics and flow is better than tupac. the ooonlly reason u guys even think big n pac is two of the greatest mcs is beacuse really at that time there wasnt anybody hot out. nowadays its alot more artists n more talent. what yall think nobody ever is gonna be better than biggie or pac?? biggie and pac was ahead of they time but as far is flow lyrics n beats. pac aint fuckin wit wayne. only reason why people even like pac like that is beacuse he was a actor as well. everybody thought he was real. being real or fake has nothing to do with your music. and when have u everrr heard biggie over a down south beat???? u cant put biggie on a song wit common or bruno mars or some shit like that. n i listen to biggie allll the fukin time. i kno alllll his lyrics. but he cant flow like jayz ross or wayne. them 3 can go on anyyyyy beat n rip it not jus wit flow but wit lyrics as well.

respect it but wayne aint on them guys level man, them guys are Legendary, it was spitters in they time, wayne might be the best spitter now cause aint nobody really spittin good quality shit now and thats really not sayin much cause wayne aint really spiitin good quality shit foreal so, its all pop rap and bull shit talkin going on today.. probably the best guys aint gettin shine or heard.. and yu really trippin, BIG has one of the best flows of all time, ross flow aint even all that, its simple and catchy to folks.. and im sure if any of the current guys you mentioned would beef wit pac in his day, they would get destroyed...,nobody dont want to see pac on that beef on wax shit
