Of the listed, Nas did. But it's kinda hard to go platinum when you are limited to a certain area. Even though the others do have street cred, their national appeal is nowhere (styles and beans). They dominate underground circuits but it seems they limited themselves to where they are. But all I'm saying is that if you're going to talk about one of the best, your numbers have to speak for you. You need to have at least a platinum plaque to back you up or it just shows you're all hype but not living up to it. But if we are talking BODY of work, we see what Jeezy has done and as of right now, Ross, after four albums, has yet to get one platinum plaque. Jay Z, Wayne, Tupac, Biggie has those plaques to say, "I got the hardware." It's like playing your whole career in the NFL or NBA and not having a title to back up your claim to be the best ever.

soooo lemme get this straight im just asking. your saying jadakiss maxb beanie sigel styles p mobb deep common lupe fiasco joe buddens stack bundles az mos def kendrick lamar j.cole wiz khalifa i named alot so nobdy culdnt make excuses but they  arent good rappers or artist or lyricists because they never went platinum ???????????

Nope. Never said any of that. You just added a bunch of words to what I did say. They all are good. But let's be for real. All I'm saying is that if you are so great, show me. Show me your resume. Who's there to back what you're saying up. Show me your track record, let's pull your resume. It's not fair to bring these people into this comparison because it's almost like they've only done things on a local level. We are talking in the lane of Rick Ross, who's known and respected worldwide and Young Jeezy, who's known and respected worldwide. The fan bases are different but I'm talking of these two rappers with larger fan bases. I don't think either of those other guys even care of going platinum but hey, the reality is, when you think of a athlete and before they go to the hall of fame, they pull your numbers and see if they add up to the greats. I never said that any of those guys weren't lyrical, if so show me where I did, hell, Jeezy my boy but I ain't stupid enough to tell you he could go bar for bar with those cats. But he's doing something right to be as successful as those cats. Some of the guys you named will be where Jeezy and Ross are right now, if not bigger.

lol @ show me show me your resume. all those rappers i named have a resume why the fuck are they proving anything to you for anyway??? styles p jadakiss alone has enough body of work they been out for 10 plus years and they have way better lyrics and are better rappers. if thats not what your talking about by ur so called resume then your going off of whos better by record sales. wiz khalifa kendrick lamar j.cole jadakiss mos def especially are all known world wide and hasnt gone platinum. and lets say ook you wanna compare record sales to whos better putting numbers up since 2006 whiiich is the year rick ross came out in only less than 10 has gone platinum since record sales arent the same no more and we all know that. nas is a better rapper than jeezy we all know that and is known worldwide hasnt gone platinum since 2006. look it up. soo all of what your saying just sound like your hating

Wow. Like I told you, which you didn't seem to understand, you're comparing people who shouldn't be compared. Those younger and upcoming rappers you speak of, I'm not comparing them because it's too early. All of styles p and Jada's body of work is where...underground. Be for real JJ. Your comparisons are not working. I'll tell you what, let's say you're a promoter, you have to do a show in somewhere like, New Mexico, you have the money to get either rapper you named or Jeezy and you needed to make sure you made a profit and sold out the house. Who you gone call? Jeezy? Or another one of the rappers you named? Remember, it's your money and you need to double up! And I wasn't saying show me, in particular, their resumes. I'm saying for the sake of argument, you have to have something to speak FOR YOU. To show why you even deserve to be in the conversation as to why you're one the best. I bet right off top, you couldn't quote a hot line from either one of those rappers. I don't know why I'm debating you anyway, you can't debate or make an argument. Your a lil' slow. CMoney, where YOU at? At least you make valid points.

Styles n Kiss werent jus on underground shit....Beans was wit JayZ n on the hotters record label in the early 2000s.....goin platinum is good....its great really far as success in the gm...if i call pull ur resume....Styles resume....classic album....imo....Gangster and a Gentleman...rapped wit BIG....all about the benjamins...same wit Jada....LOX had all the ruff ryder vols...with X....i look at rappers like this....if u have a certain appeal to the world....u gon sell....shit look at mike jones.....he went platinum.....nd is MIA like a mF now....he had an appeal....he was catchy.....Beans never went platinum jus bcuz he never got off that street shit...same wit Styles....thats my opinion on that...only rappers that really stayed tru to they roots nd went plat is down south artists really....every other tru hood artist from the east coast where im from havent been successful....shit Meek prb gon be the most successful rapper outta Philly....nd there are plenty of better artists from here....so its jus if u get put on...nd if u have an appeal really on the fact if u go plat or not..

Now, I can appreciate that. Thank you. You made valid points. And that's what I meant with Styles P and Beans. They held themselves back.

lol @ coney bruh. he just basically said the same shit i did. i think u clearly lost this debate. u went from switching to lyrics rappers to shows being done in mexico hahahahaha. and you know who id pick to sell out a show???? jadakiss mobb deep nas definately. soo youuuuur the one with no valid points. i stomped u in this debate lol. u agreed to what cmoney saying is the saaaame shit that i jus said hahahaha. and cmoney shouldnt have to tell you about styles p n jadakiss doin tours wit biggie coming out in  the 90s cause if you were a TRUE hip hop fan which you probably arent anyways so i dont know why your debating you would have knooown styles p n jadakiss nas etc etc resume without even asking. have a good day sir

u da same curly head fuck dat said jeezy fell off last summer.
