If album sales and fan base doesn't determine greatness...what does? Seems like those two alone are your two most important factors. Ok, as far as debating the two albums, as of the first week, tm103 did better. As far as Ross having more haters, he did that to himself with fabrication. So that's self inflicted. Ask the record labels and I'm pretty sure they'll tell you that sales determine greatness because you're reaching your goals, artist wanna be heard by as many people possible. Those platinum plaques do not go unnoticed. I mean if you have never gone platinum but you want to be the best, your resume is not up to par man. I can not think of one person who's considered a great but never went platinum so if you don't mind, help me out. In the days before piracy and leaks, everybody went platinum but if you can go now, man that says a lot because people bootleg so much.
