Old Jeezy Rhymes

I've been listenin to Trap or Die all day and I been doing some comparison from old Jeezy and new Jeezy to see what he's been missing cus he's clearly not as good as he used to be... I noticed that he talks about blow entirely tooooooooooo much now, he doesnt talks about the struggles of coming up no more or any other struggles in everyday life, and most of all he dont even use PUNCHLINES no more at all... YALL TELL ME WHAT YALL THINK

exactly, but he do still do all that but not as much... he basically aint as street as he use to be real talk.... he was essentially a street nigga that so happen doin the rap thing, but now its like he just a rapper tring to rap now... basically a prisoner of his success

What i think is that Jeezy is lyrically better now than he has ever been. Of course he dont talk about struggles no more, cuz if you been in the game for over 5 years made bucoups of money with 3 Platinum plaques, there is really no reason to talk about struggles no more. Jeezy's whole style revolves around telling it like it is and not like it was. i mean how would i look like being 5 years in the game still rappin about struggles and im pullin up to the strip club in a brand spankin new Ferrari. And as far as punchlines go, he aint never been the punchline type. You might think its punchlines, but in reality its just called being clever and on point, and clearly he hasnt lost that. So that my whole take on it. #TM103onThaWay

every1 got a point, i dont mind he talk about blow cuzz i mean shit, hes called the snowman for a reason thats cool, but he definetly switched his style up. he kinda goin mainstream now in my opinion. im missin those adlibs the most. like fuck jeezy you better impress me with that tm103 or ill cry. like that BALLIN song... could be so much better. maybe lost his swag , who knows, well see soon. conclusion : old jeezy > new jeezy
