First let me say i used to be a huge Wayne fan in 04 - 07.. but its not hard to tell his music has drastically changed from his flow to punchlines. I honestly went into this with an open mind and this is my track by track review.

Intro - Beat is nuts and Wayne comes in with some mediocre lines and a couple hot punches. 6.5/10

Blunt Blowin - Once again nice beat but Wayne still isnt giving the punches he used to. 6/10

Megaman - One of my faves from the album. Sick beat and Wayne went in. 9/10

6'7'' - To be honest I wasn't feeling this song when it dropped and I still dont. 4/10

Nightmares of the Bottom - Smooth track with a nice flow from Wayne. 7/10

She Will - Production is top notch and Wayne flows good over a stolen beat (lol) Kinda wish Drake dropped a verse tho. 7/10

How to Hate - I FUCKING HATE T-PAIN and overall this track just annoys me. 3/10

Interlude - Tech N9ne and 3Stacks destroy this track, especially Tech. 9/10

John - Tracks like this make me hate Lil Wayne.. this is a skipper for me. 2/10

Abortion - Another smooth track, chorus is a bit annoyin, but verses are dope. 7/10

So Special - Nice beat + John Legend on chorus = Nice track. 8/10

How to Love - ..... 0/10

President Carter - Def. my fave track on album with Wayne by himself. 9/10

Its Good - Great track, great features, and subliminals. 8.5/10

Outro - Other than Nas, this track isn't too hot. 5/10

Well thats my review so overall i give it about a 6.8/10. Its an ok album, definitely not A.O.T.Y. contender. But this will last me until The Real is Back 2, which should be out in a couple days lol. No but for real check out the tracks i gave above 8 and you'll have the best tracks.

#1 album off the year? hmm yea might be it .... i dont know,  lets see how hard Jeezy, cole, krit will come

ReceSSion, I pretty much agree with your assessments. Overall, the album was solid and leagues ahead of Tha Carter III to me. The production was pretty good and his rhymes were fresher this time around, which I felt has been the case ever since he got sober. It isn't as scatterbrained as the last Carter and I'm glad Wayne chose to stay in the Hip Hop/R&B lane and didn't delve into rock or singing (too much). The only real drawback to the album, which I think has been Wayne's problem since about 2007, is his punchline heavy style. It gets repetitive and half of the stuff he says is so simple. It irks me to no end that he substituted this for how he used to rap. Now, don't get me wrong, I know all artists change. The thing is that he doesn't even switch his flow up anymore. It's all he does and only every now and then does he say something truly clever. The tracks pointed out earlier are the best and for the worst, How to Love is easily the weakest. Wayne cannot sing, flatout. Besides that, it's a fairly nice album and it hardly seems like it will get tired after a few listens like CIII was. Not album of the year, but besides a few bumps, it's one of Wayne's better releases in the past couple of years. The features carry their own weight and the beats range from great to above average. I would give it a B- and while it's still behind Tha Carter I and II, it easily trumps CIII and Rebirth.
I rate dis shit 2 out of 5
Of course jay step it up every time
New watch alert hublows big face role got 2 of those
Nxt year shit
Good Shit
wayne aint got to have punchlines hes rich and the album was great!

Album was insane
solid review i agree wit recession.. i was expecting it to be one of waynes best work the way it was anticipated and how much they were hyping it up but id give it atleast a 7 out of 10..not something id play over and over again.. in short not a classic imo
