What is the Chopping Block?:

JS-1 Tha Supplier, DJ LockOne, VVCRADIO.COM, & THAGRID.COM bring you the illest internet battle to ever hit the net!!! We figured why make it complicated for the artists like you to get exposure and feedback from the people you make music for? Why try to decide what the people want to listen to? So the “Chopping Block” was created (by DJ TekMatrix and developed by Aries Lounge)!!! We kill two birds with one stone 1) We get a chance to shed light on new talent 2) The listeners get to decide what they want to listen to!!

RULES:

OK it’s really simple. Aries Lounge airs every Monday night at 8pm so during the broadcast you must be listening and do the following:

1) You must be logged onto thagrid.com and in the “live chat” (the link to enter is at the top bar of the site)

2) You must have you music (dirty or clean) loaded up on thagrid.com on your profile page.

3) Once you are in the chat room you must Announce to JS-1 Tha Supplier (the host) that you want to be on the chopping block through a chat msg.

4) You must announce the title of the song you are putting up on the chopping block

5) If you win the chopping block for that night your song will be saved and will compete again at the end of the 5 week qualifying rotation to compete with 4 other winners from other nights for a final battle which the fans will pick their favorite song from.

6) You must be in the in the chatroom and listening every monday night If you win the qualifying rounds until the final battle night or be disqualified.

7) If you are in the chat room every night after you win the qualifying round and the people vote you the winner in the final battle you will be the winner and receive the VVC Radio Ultimate prize!!!
