IF YA FAVORITE RAPPER WAS KILLED WOULD THEY BECOME A LEGEND?

WE ALL HAVE THESE ARGUMENTS ALL THE TIME BOUT WHO THE BEST RAPPER, OR WHO GOT THE BEST ALBUMS. lETS PUT IT LIKE THIS IF YA FAVORITE RAPPER WAS KILLED WOULD THEY BE A LEGEND, WOULD NIGGAS LISTEN TO THEY SHIT FOR YEARS TO COME OR WOULD THAT RAPPER FADE FROM HISTORY?

That's a true arguement. Rappers that have died in the past few years, Mac Dre, J Dilla, have automatically become legends from the fans. It all depends on who it is and how their music was presented. If someone like Wayne died, then there's about a hundred songs in catalog that the fans can look back on and he would get the legend stamp on his tombstone. But if someone lesser known, that was labelled as a one hit wonder then they'd fade away within months.

If an underground rapper died then the J Dilla effect would happen, where they've been around for years without the audience really knowing of them. Thus the fans will look into their music and become fans.

my favorite rappers are still alive and it dont feel right talkin about if they were dead. when they time come it just comes and im pretty sure they will be legends in someone eyes.

its some questionable legends yall named they good rappers n had an impact but in my opinion legend is a reach.( but opinions is like aswholes everybody as one)

Jeezy my favorite rapper i look forward to all his work for that motivation but a legend i dont kno.

i think a legend is someone who not only made good music for the times n times to come but effected society to a point where they had to notice us. for example PAC dudes who dont speak no english no Pac n what he stood for not just his songs. he had the government shook n he popped police,
Big had the whole new york on his back n alot i mean alote of rappers owe big publishing he laid a blueprint down to this thats still in use. 10 crack commandments if you aint have no oldhead that song put you on.

i think the term is thrown around to loosely. but hey oppinons n asswholes again. so i honestly dont know time will tell. remember ja rule he had like 5 summers 3 albums do you still bump that what about my man juvenile or even master p i occasionally rewind n bump they shit but are they legends?
