Teach Our Children Positive Lessons

I am quite sure majority of us has children of our own, or knows someone who has children (if you do not have any at the moment). Recently I have read stories on kids killing one another over video games, or going to school killing their teachers because he/she acted up in class and was embarressed in front of his/her homies. Little teenage boys raping little teenage girls, or these girls dressing like they by passed their adolescent years and went straight to adulthood.(you feel me)
We have to do better as parents and guide our children in the right direction. Time is too short and doesn't pause for anyone. Start from now! Im tired of seeing the evening news and the first topic has to do with a child getting gunned down by a fellow classmate over a cell phone or getting arrested for robbing a department store because they wanted those fresh pair of Coogi jeans!
I am fortunate to have a son who makes straight "A"s in school. I am blessed to have a son that the only thing I have to fuss at him about is taking out the garbage, washing the dishes or cleaning his room! It aint easy keeping a teenager in line but I am doing the best I can!

I just wanted to express myself on this! I am not trying to say parents aren't raising their children right, im just saying we just need to show them the positive even if we living in the negative!
